WTF Kris? You really are living up to your GenX slacker media label. Where's all the witty posts?
Witty posts? There's never been too many witty posts here. You must have me confused with a blog that's actually entertaining to read. And I always thought the slacker label was the coolest one to have. I'm too laid back to care what you think. Or to shower. Or to get a job with a future.
Whatever. Now you're rationalizing the lack of updates.
Yes, yes I am. I am the queen of rationalization.
So, here's what I've been doing for the past month or so...
1. Planning the wedding
It really hasn't been all that difficult. The invites have gone out. And I made them myself. (with help from the fiance) They are the most beautiful invitations. I didn't want to send them out, I loved them so much.
We've also registered. Which was lots of fun. Even if I feel kind of icky about the whole thing. We have a wide variety of items in all price ranges. Although, the super expensive stuff (cookware set and dining room table and chairs) are on there for the 15% discount we can get after the wedding.
And in a moment of total boredom and goofiness, I actually made a knot bio. I can't believe I did that. I can take comfort in that mine is better than most of the 20 year old annoying brides on there who want the stereotypical lame poofy wedding. I'm not particularly proud of that fact. It's like running a race against someone with no legs.
Everything is coming together very smoothly. I've had a good time planning everything and there really hasn't been any big fights or drama. It's been almost too easy. [knocks on wood] [throws salt over shoulder] [does other good luck stuff]
2. Um, I guess it's mostly been wedding stuff...
