Whew, I’m tired today. I stayed up way too late last night working on a Christmas project. Without going into details on what it is, because this space isn’t as secret as it used to be, I can say it will either be a fabulous, well-received idea or a huge crash & burn failure. I don’t like to do things halfway… ;)

My husband said that I can’t make Christmas cookies this year. Because apparently eating cookies made primarily of butter and sugar for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two weeks straight, puts me into the rage more often, and when I’m not in the rage, I’m a slug. After he pointed it out to me, I realized that he might have a pretty good point and that maybe I should try to make the weeks leading up to Christmas as rage and slug-free as possible. I’m sure my mom is still making cookies, so if I really need the cookie fix, I know where to go.

Oh great, put all the cookie pressure on me.

This is the thanks I get for carrying you in my womb in NINE MONTHS and HOURS and HOURS of PAINFUL LABOR!?! Speaking of ungrateful children, WHERE ARE ALL MY GRANDBABIES!?! I'm not getting any younger here... and, honestly, neither are YOU! SO, you better hurry up!

Now look what you've done! You got me all worked up! I need a cocktail...

Yes! Of course. And except for the grandbabies phrase, it sort of sounds like her. :)

But what's really funny, is for a second I had an "oh shit, my mom's reading my weblog!!" moment.

Maybe I should clean out my archives... ;)
