I just heard a song on Spinner that made me remember something from last Friday night. There was a very heated arguement between me and a very attractive male friend of mine about who sang the theme song to the Breakfast Club. Everyone knows it's Don't You (Forget about me) by this certain band. He didn't know who the band was, but he was positive that I was totally wrong. And me, in all my drnken self-righteousness thought how dare he doubt me because I was totally right. I was so secure in my knowledge, but I, unfortunately, was thinking of the wrong band. I said Simply Red instead of Simple Minds. [hangs head in shame] So I was totally wrong and felt really stupid for confusing the names. In my defense, this was pretty late in the night and I wasn't exactly sober, but that's really no good defense. I don't even like Simply Red. I'll just have to remember next time I go out not to get into drunken musical arguements. Unless it's about Motley Crue or Def Leppard...
