Debating whether or not to wear a costume to work on Halloween. I get the vibe that no one really does that sort of thing here. But it would be the one day I could get away with wearing something fun. And since 'they' think I'm weird here anyway, I wouldn't be damaging my 'professional' reputation. [snicker snicker] If I decide yes, then I'll have the desicion of what costume to wear... more stress. Maybe I'll just bag the whole thing and come as a disillusioned, frustrated genX'er who is facing her 30s in a low paying, dead-end nowhere job and who is moving back in with her parents in 2 months. With no good prospects in site... wow, that might really just be a little bit too close to home for me. Maybe I'll wear a wig to make it farther away...
And speaking of costumes, why does everyone think that wearing a clear garbage bag filled with balloons is like the cleverest costume ever? I remember my mom suggesting it to me when I was 7ish and even back then I thought it was really stupid. I think that was the year I went as a princess... tinfoil covered stick and all...
