Sometimes weeks will go by, and nothing happens, then there are weeks like this one, that everything that you could think of happening, happens. Whew. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. The big thing is the freelance gig I picked up a few days ago. First one in a long time. The only thing is I grossly underestimated the time it would take to complete. Either that, or I got really carried away in my excitement. I think it might be a combination of both. And this is not a complaint in anyway shape or form. It's so wonderful to be able to actually design something for someone. :) Good times.

So in all this chaos of things to get done, my body totally betrays me and gets feverishly sick. I've been mainlining echinacea mixed with Advil Cold and Sinus. Drinking V8 juice all the time, etc. I think it might have worked, because I do feel a little better, not 100%. But I say, f-you cold virus, I'm still going to happy hour. I'm sure I'll do all sorts of damage to my immune system this weekend. But if I can make through to Sunday, I'm good. I'll be back in the office on Monday relaxing and recovering from the drunken debauchery.
