I finally got a phone line! Woo-hoo! It was weird not having a phone or internet access for so long. And there is no cable. I felt so disconnected. But I'm back online now baby! Let the job search begin! (or continue, or go no where, or whatever)
The drive from Atlanta to Rochester took us something like 22 hours. In a uhaul truck, with no CD player. We did Iron Man driving and drove straight through. I was more than a little tired. Then we unloaded the truck. I was even more tired. And all of this had been based on the 3 hours of sleep we had gotten Friday night. I had to go out one last night in Atlanta. And I don't regret it. Hopefully I'll see the people again, but you never know.
Still no job. But the unemployment has kicked in. Oh yeah, I'm totally on easy street now. Let my life of leisure continue. My project for this week is to redo my website and portfolio and make it totally kick ass. Because, while it's not horrible now, it's not outstanding and fabulous. Plus I'd like to get this blog on my own site.
I'm glad I moved back here. I am loving the new apartment and even though it's been fucking cold as shit, I'm happier being here than I was in Atlanta. I just wish I could've brought some people with me. Time to go out and make some new friends. The unpacking is going very slowly. You'd think with all this free time I have I would've gotten the shit done by now. Nope, I'm lazy.
