In honor of the movies I watched last weekend, I present:
Places I will never visit, based strictly on movies I have seen
1. Texas. After watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre and all of it's sequels, prequels and remakes, I have a very negative view of Texas. When I think of Texas, the only thing that comes to mind is being disemboweled and skinned. But, on the bright side, at least my skin would live on in a lampshade or mask or maybe some upholstery.
2. Australia. This is a new entry to the list, because I had always had a good feeling about Australia after watching Muriel's Wedding and Madmax. But after watching Wolf Creek last weekend, OMG, I'm never going there. It takes a lot from me to get disturbed by a movie and that one did it. But maybe if I just stick to the coastlines and stay out of the middle, I'll be ok.
3. Hawaii. Such a beautiful place from the pictures, but after seeing Snakes on a Plane, I realize that Hawaii is a total hotbed of evil Asian mob guys just waiting to whack you for seeing things you shouldn't. Ha! I'm actually kidding about this one. I would still love to go and visit Hawaii, even with the evil Asain mob guys, bent on state-wide destruction...
