Why is our newly delivered fridge sticking out of it's cubby hole?

Hmmm... that looks suspicious...

I think I found the problem. One half of an inch of ugly formica countertop is all that stands in the way of fridge-fitting. I was so worried about the height of the fridge, I didn't really give too much thought to the width. Ah, the importance of measuring...

The campground that we stayed at, The Sunset RV Park in Oswego, was right on the lake and had the best sunsets.

If you look in the other direction you might notice that we were kind of close to the Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.

And we got forked in the night. (or really early in the morning)

It was a really great weekend all around. We've already booked the same weekend for next year.

We went camping a couple of weekends ago and Sadie ended up breaking a bone in her foot. After a couple of hours at the Baldwinsville Emergency Vet Clinic... Sadie had a full leg cast and some good drugs. She spent the rest on the weekend on a pillow, eating hot dogs while we sat around a fire eating and drinking ourselves silly.

Not only did we have a bat the first night, but I got a parking ticket for parking in the street. Brighton hates me. No one else got a ticket. They must not like newcomers. Or maybe the cop saw my Operation Mindrime tape and wasn't a fan.

Yes, we have a driveway. And a garage. I was just too tired to move my car after the big move. No compassion from the Brighton cops...

Apparently our new house is the bat cave. Last night, my husband saw a bat in the basement and this morning (at about 5:45) he saw hopefully the same bat on the kitchen floor. I came downstairs and put a box on top of it. Then I tried sliding it out of the way and Mr. Bat started making the most unholy noises. He's staying put for now.

Other than that, the move went well... sort of. Moving sucks. And moving in July on the second hottest day of the year sucks all kinds of ass.

**Evening Update**
The bat has been removed. We called ACME Wildlife Control. They came out, removed the bat and inspected the house for infestation. They thought we were pretty solid and think the bat was just a rogue. I hope so. I also found out that our new town is Bat-City. Something the realtor didn't mention. We should've stayed in the city, at least you can't get rabies from crackhouses...
