Guess what I'm listening to right now? The voices in my head? No. SIRIUS radio? No.

I am listening to Operation Mindcrime II. It's been 18 years since the first Mindcrime. The last time I waited 18 years for anything was for Episode I. And you know what a let down that was. The excitement wasn't quite the same, but I have been looking forward to it for awhile now. Monday night, the great great House of Guitars was open at midnight to sell it. The thought crossed my mind to go, but I have a pretty good feeling that my husband might have given me one of those looks. And who am I kidding? I was in a KFC chicken-induced coma by 9:30.

Anyway, my first impression is that is sounds a lot like Dream Theater. And that it's not as good as the first one. But what would be? I think this one is going to grow on me. I think I need to put this on the iPod and drive around and listen to it. The office environment isn't condusive to Queensrÿche.

Now if you'll excuse me, there's an underground revolution working overtime...
