Yeah, it's Friday night and I'm staying in. Kind of lame, but I'll be making up for it tomorrow. Anyway I'm watching the Def Leppard movie that VH1 did a while back.

I have LOTS of problems with it.

  1. The first and biggest issue I have is the hairstyles. During the Pyromania years, Joe Elliott didn't have the blond super mullet that he had in the Hysteria years. He didn't have that hairstyle that soon. For some reason that really sticks in my craw and annoys the shit out of me.

  2. Yeah, I understand that the actors playing the band aren't going look exactly like them, but I think they could've found some actors that looked a little more like them. Steve Clack's guy came close. But I think that was because he had the Steve Clark slouch down pretty good.

  3. Don't get me started on the horrible accents.

  4. Did I mention the hairstyle inconsistancies?

  5. Yes. The drummer lost his arm in an accident. This movie must've had a budget smaller than my savings account, because it was so obvious that the actor playing Rick Allen had his arm in his shirt. I'm not saying they should have had Forrest Gump level effects, but there has to be some sort of middle ground. Sheeeesh.

And I heard that VH1 is next making a movie based on The Dirt. [That is the Motley Crue book, for my hair band knowledge challenged friends] Of course I will watch it, but I hope they do a better job. At least they won't have the accent problem.
