What a miserable weekend so far. I woke up this morning with my left eye almost swollen shut. Yuck. Why is it like that? And it was just the one eye, so I looked really goofy when I went to Wegmans to get something to eat for breakfast. After I was done there, I got in the car and tried to start it up. Tried. The honda wouldn't start. The freaking battery was dead. Nothing, just that annoying clicking sound. I didn't bring my cellphone, and of course I have no jumper cables in my car. So I started accosting people in the parking lot. With my big puffy swollen eye. I tried to keep my hair over that side so I don't know if anyone else noticed. I found out today that lots of people don't carry jumper cables in their cars. Finally I found a really nice wonderful older man who helped a puffy-swollen-eyed girl out and jump started my battery. He's my new hero. And I'm going to Sears to get a new battery next week. Or maybe tomorrow.
